Just a short cute video I took during Puppy Socialization class today at our Avenue Road school.
Watson the fun loving Beagle really knew how to bring out the confidence in Diva the Springer Spaniel.
In previous classes, the other puppies had too boisterous a play style, so we had Diva mostly sit on the sidelines and watch. With the right pairing, a young puppy’s confidence can come out.
Unfortunately, too often at dog parks, or poorly run puppy classes, shy dogs get bulldozed by more rambunctious puppies, which can actually cause them to become fearful of dogs later in life.
