Pups and Pints – Sunday June 4 at The Redwood Theatre

Welcome to “Pups & Pints: An Evening of Canine Companionship”! Join us for a tail-waggin’ good time at our dog-friendly event at The Redwood Theatre.

Calling all pet parents! This is the perfect opportunity to bring your furry friends along for a fun-filled evening. Our bar is rolling out the red carpet for your pups, with treats, water stations, and a unique opportunity to practice the skills learned in Foundation Skills Levels 1 and 2.

Sip on your favorite brew or cocktail while your four-legged companions practice their settle, stay, polite greetings, and leash walking skills. You’ll have a chance to meet fellow When Hounds Fly alumni and share stories about your fur babies. Our cozy and welcoming atmosphere is perfect for bonding over a shared love for dogs and drinks.

But that’s not all! We’ll also have exciting giveaways and raffles with dog-themed prizes. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Bullies in Need, a non-profit dog rescue based in Ontario, that focuses on helping dogs that face euthanasia in Ontario shelters, so you can feel good about supporting a great cause while having a blast.

Don’t miss out on this unique event that brings together the best of both worlds: dogs and drinks! Grab your pup, your friends, and join us for “Pups & Pints: An Evening of Canine Companionship” at our dog-friendly venue. It’s sure to be a paws-itively unforgettable night!

Who is this for?

Calling all When Hounds Fly alumni!

You’ll gone through Foundation Skills so your dog can practice their stay/settle, leash walking, and polite greeting skills, and now practice them under the distraction of The Redwood Theatre (while enjoying some food and beverages!)

This is a great experience for Foundation Skills Level 2 students and graduates to put the skills you taught your dog into practice.

While this is a great experience for many dogs, it would not be suitable for dogs that are fearful or aggressive towards other dogs, or people, or would find the environment overwhelming.

Also, because one of our core values is Above All, Positive Reinforcement, please bring an ample supply of treats and other things your dog is motivated by, so we can practice and reinforce all of their learned behaviours in a way that makes it fun for our dogs as well.
