Cane Corso Recalling to Owner

Teach Your Dog to Come When Called

You’ve successfully completed your foundation training, and your dog has great skills in a quiet environment. But what happens when you’re at the park, and a rogue tennis ball, another dog, or the irresistible scent of a prey animal appears? Do you panic? Does your dog have “selective hearing?”

A truly reliable recall is the single most important safety skill you can give your dog, but it’s also one of the hardest to teach because the world is so much more rewarding than you are—until now!

Let our experienced instructors coach you through the advanced, systematic techniques needed to make you the most exciting thing in the park. You’ll learn how to build a reliable sequence that overcomes powerful distractions effortlessly.

Imagine the freedom of trusting your dog to come bounding back to you immediately, no matter what is happening around them.

Want to finally unlock a park-proof, life-saving recall? Join us for Rocket Recall Training!

How’s It Work?

  • Week 1 – Recall Fundamentals: Understand why recall is so hard! Learn about Engagement, High Value Reinforcers, and Dynamic Rewards. We introduce the proven 2-part sequence for overcoming powerful attraction and ensuring your dog turns toward you then comes running.
  • Week 2 – Distractions: Warm-up your new skills and practice recall from high-value Food, Toys, and simulated Prey distractions. We introduce an essential geometric training exercise that builds incredible value for returning to you in high-distraction environments.
  • Week 3 – Dog Park Ready: We shift focus to the ultimate challenge: practicing recall directly away from other dogs. We wrap up with specialized training for a Dog Park Recall—the proof of a perfect result! This is still all done in the controlled setting of the classroom.

Who Is This For?

To ensure you and your dog have a safe and successful class, make sure you and your dog meets the prerequisites:

  • Completion of Foundation Skills Level 1 or greater.

  • Your dog must be social and friendly towards other dogs and people.

  • Your dog must be able to go to public dog parks (i.e. they are safe and appropriate for the environment). While it’s still in the classroom, dogs will be off-leash together for some exercises that simulate the realities of city dog parks.
