Group Classes

***Foundation Skills classes are currently full! The soonest we will be taking new students for Foundation Skills is in two weeks (February 12 will be the first available orientation session for Foundation Skills students). Puppy Socialization classes are not full so we can accept you quickly!***

When Hounds Fly is also the first and only dog training school in Toronto to offer a modular, flexible syllabus and enrollment system.  How are we different?

  1. Start ANY time - unlike linear schools that have rigid start dates and require consecutive attendance week after week

    • Begin your own customized program with When Hounds Fly by attending an orientation session (without your dog) where we cover the basics of modern animal training, what equipment you'll need, and protocols for class.
    • To get started, complete our Enrollment Form and once we review it, we'll confirm your enrollment and send you instructions on how to attend a new student orientation session.

Once you're done orientation, your dog is ready to start, and you can sign up for class slots on our Class Calendar.

  2. Missing a class or two is OK (life gets busy) - No problem, just come an extra time the week before or after to make it up!  You're welcome to come to any available timeslot within your program's timeframe for completion.

  3. Come for EXTRA classes!  Repeat classes if you need extra help - Each program gives ample time for completion and allows you to come up to 50% extra class (vs. the # of training plans given - i.e. a 4 training plan program allows you to register up to 6 times)

We're more like a Yoga pass vs. that evening creative writing class at night school - that's so hard to always get to every Wednesday at 7pm for 6 weeks in a row.  Our programs and schedule will grow as we grow!
